A Finish -Finally

Flying Geese
I finally finished a project!!!  It has been too long since anything was completed.  This is a quilt for a special friend- for her long since past birthday.  And I can finally put it in the mail to her.  It came out just as hoped.  The size is smaller-  more of a lap quilt.  But good for throwing over your legs when it is chilly in California- or sitting on during a soccer or baseball game.

I used linen and Denyse Schmidt's Florence line.  The final dimensions are 44 x 38.  The quilting is all hand done with a pearle cotton - a coral color and white.  The binding is scrappy- with bits of all the fabrics used for the flying geese.

Happy Birthday Stef-  I hope you enjoy it.

Now just hoping for more finishes......................................
